Our FREE park sessions are among most enjoyable activities run by the college. These sessions give our students the opportunity to practice Tai Chi and Qigong in the open air, in natural surroundings. They bring together past and present students, Instructors and the Masters from all of our centres and have been attended by many people over the years.
We run a variety of park sessions throughout the year:
- Park Lessons with the Masters
- World Tai Chi and Qigong Day
- Weekend Practice Sessions
- Summer Park Sessions
Everyone is welcome to join in! If you have never done Tai Chi or Qigong before and you want to find out the health benefits of doing these centuries-old exercises, then you are most welcome to give it a try. Just come to a park session near you!
If you want to learn Tai Chi or Qigong, you can also join one of our regular classes across Melbourne. We have Beginner and Advanced Classes running at a number of our locations.
Park Lessons with the Masters
At the end of our class terms, we have two free park lessons lead by our Masters and Senior Instructors. These lessons run for two hours and are an opportunity for students to practice what they have learnt during the term. If you have never done Tai Chi before, then you are most welcome to join in an introduction free park class and enjoy a demonstration by the Masters.

So if you want additional practice to help you remember a routine, or want to catch up socially and regularly with Tai Chi friends, or just simply find this to be a great opportunity to practice Tai Chi and Qigong to improve your health and wellbeing, then please join in. You don't have to stay for the whole session, just stay for as long as you want and for the routines that you want to practice.
