Every year, we hold a free park lesson to celebrate World Tai Chi and Qigong Day. This special day is celebrated across the world to acknowledge in a major way the health benefits of doing Tai Chi and Qigong and sharing the enjoyment of doing these exercises with everyone who joins us!
At the park lesson, we will be taking the participants through some Tai Chi and Qigong routines. The exercises are suitable for all ages, and everyone is most welcome to attend. So if you have never done Tai Chi or Qigong before, you are most welcome to give it a try.
World Tai Chi and Qigong Day's goals are to:
- Educate the world about emerging medical research revealing health benefits that Tai Chi and Qigong offer.
- Educate about the increasing use of these ancient traditional Chinese medicine modalities in business, healthcare, education, and rehabilitation.
- Provide a global vision of cooperation for health & healing purposes across geopolitical boundaries, and also an appeal to people worldwide to embrace wisdom from all the cultures of the world.
- Thank Chinese culture for the gifts of Tai Chi and Qigong to the world.
