Margaret Rogers is a retired biochemist who worked in research with the CSIRO. She started learning Tai Chi with Grand Master Eng Chor Khor in 1993 and after finishing Level 6, became a Trainee Instructor helping Senior Master Eng Chor at his Wednesday evening Camberwell class (now held in Kew) and his Saturday morning class (which has been held in various halls in Camberwell South, Glen Iris and finally Ashburton).

In 1996, Margaret became an Instructor with the College, taking over the Ashburton class while still assisting at the Wednesday evening class with Grand Master Eng Chor, she was then appointed a Senior Instructor in 2007.

Margaret also runs Tai Chi and Qigong classes for the YMCA at Ashburton and Hawthorn, the Balwyn North Senior Citizens Club and independent retirement establishments. She has also run classes for several Community Centres and classes in primary and secondary schools for students and teachers and also tertiary classes for students of Chinese Medicine.

She has accompanied Grand Master Eng Chor Khor on his Tai Chi cultural trips to China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Vietnam and participated in the International Martial Arts Games held in Melbourne in 2013. She is a member of the Wushu, Qigong and Tai Chi Association (WTQA) and for several years has been a Tai Chi and Qigong judge at the WTQA competitions held at Monash University.
