Park Lesson along the Maribyrnong River

Another fine morning on 28 June 2025 along the Maribyrnong River provided the backdrop to a spirited gathering of tai chi practitioners. We enjoyed a vigorous warm up with Instructor Dave Brogden and practised our form. We then broke off into smaller groups and spent time revising and discussing aspects of the form in order to gain a better understanding, and thus more enjoyment, from our tai chi Yang form.

Instructor Wayne Bradborn led the Lohan Warrior routine in a detailed and informative session that left us all with a better understanding of the form, and confidence to perform this wonderful routine going forwards.

After a short break for tea and biscuits, Dave guided the group through the intricate details of 32 Sword, with an emphasis on timing and precision. Everyone seemed to benefit as the final performance was a joy to behold.

Many thanks to everybody who turned up and contributed. It's always a pleasant morning doing tai chi with a great bunch of Celestial College enthusiasts.

Joy Muir, Instructor, Moonee Ponds, with thanks to Dave and Wayne.
