My Tai Chi Experience

I recently incorporated Tai Chi into my exercise routine. At 65, and quite fit, I find that the slow, fluid movements, weight shifts and controlled postures are helping me develop better balance and coordination, which are crucial as I grow older.

Moreover, I'm finding that Tai Chi is building both my strength and mobility in ways that are gentle on my joints. The low-impact nature of the exercises means I can engage in deep stretching and strengthening without straining my muscles or ligaments. Interestingly, I've found that the continuous flow of postures strengthens muscles that are often neglected in traditional exercise routines. Tai Chi has become an essential part of my wellness program and I'm planning to keep practicing it for many years to come.

The instructors at Celestial College have been incredibly patient and supportive, guiding me through the learning process one step at a time. They understand that learning Tai Chi takes time and they make sure I grasp each form before moving on to the next, never rushing me. Their calm and encouraging approach has helped me build confidence with each lesson. Whether it’s refining my posture, aligning my movements, or offering gentle corrections, their attention to detail ensures that I can perform each form correctly. Thanks to their dedication and expertise, I'm steadily improving and enjoying each small improvement at my own pace.
