Doncaster Day Centre

The Doncaster East centre is at the Lutheran Church hall, 51 Victoria Street, Doncaster. The spacious, light-filled hall – heated in winter – is located behind the church and is accessed by a driveway. There is plenty of parking available right outside the hall.

Classes are held every Wednesday morning from 9.30 to 10.30. The centre is run by Instructors Bruce Ellis and Christina Koh who have been teaching at this centre for well over 15 years. They are supported by Jana Jares, Pavla Rada, Barbara Ah Yick, Maylin Lee and Steve Chan who are all committed to their roles. They are very patient and keen to share the health benefits of doing Tai Chi with their students. They have a long history of learning and they attend regular training sessions provided for instructors by the College. The support of the assistants allows us to provide individual or small group instructions at all levels.

The centre was established in the late 1990s. It provides a comfortable environment that is friendly and encouraging to all students, making everyone feel as though they are part of the Tai Chi family. This environment remains one of the strengths of this centre.

Prospective new students are warmly welcomed to visit the Doncaster East centre to find out what Tai Chi and Qigong are all about.
