The year 2020 marks the 30th Anniversary of Celestial Tai Chi College and its teaching of Tai Chi and Qigong in Melbourne. In 1990, our accomplished practitioners, Grand Master Eng Chor Khor and Senior Master Chin Min Lian, founded the College. They believed in spreading the word of good health and lifestyle balance by teaching many diverse routines of Tai Chi and Qigong and thus embarked on a journey of sharing their knowledge and skills in Australia.
The Masters have trained many Tai Chi teachers over the years, from trainee to senior instructor levels, with expert advice and proficiency, forging a reputable place for the College in the Australian martial arts community and beyond.
We run many centres all over Melbourne, imparting Tai Chi skills to thousands of people of all ages, abilities and background. The age of our learners spans from 6 to over 80! By regularly practising Tai Chi, the learners have experienced benefits to their health, regardless of their physical ability, occupational or cultural background. The College has had the privilege of witnessing and receiving testimonials of health improvement, relaxation and energy boosts from numerous learners.
We run countless diverse classes, instructing in Tai Chi, Qigong and weapons. On top of that, we have FREE park lessons for our regular students and people who wish to try Tai Chi and Qigong with us. The Masters conduct prestigious Master Classes where they teach special routines in a single afternoon. Also, we offer community lessons and popular, cultural overseas tours.
To celebrate this special anniversary, we will have the following special events:
