Celestial Tai Chi College classes have been held in the Wyndham Municipality for approximately 20 years. Our Instructor, Rita Sullivan, and Assistant Instructor, Graham Sullivan, are both very passionate and committed to the principles and philosophy of Tai Chi. They are both dedicated to sharing the gift of Tai Chi with people of all ages and fitness levels. As long-term practitioners of this beautiful ancient art, they can attest to its many benefits that include; improved flexibility, reduction in stress levels, improved balance, greater capacity for relaxation and mindfulness and increased energy.
Hoppers Crossing Celestial Tai Chi classes are held on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm at the Central Park Community Centre, which is located at Room 3, 80 Lonsdale Circuit, Hoppers Crossing. The centre is spacious, warm in winter and comfortable in the summer months, making it an ideal all year-round venue for learning Tai Chi and qigong.
The Hoppers Crossing centre offers classes in Yang style Tai Chi and qigong. Classes are available for both beginners and advanced students. Tai chi routines and qigong forms offered include the Tai Chi Yang 108, Fan, Beijing 24, Flute, Health Stick, Shabashi, Baduanjin, Da Wu and Dayan qigong.
If you have ever contemplated Tai Chi or wondered whether it might be for you, come and join us for a relaxing hour where you can test the waters, meet other like-minded people and have some fun while energizing your body. Our group is very welcoming and always happy to see new faces. Just wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
