Ashburton Centre

The Ashburton Centre holds its classes at 10am on Saturday mornings at the Ashburton Primary School Hall, Fakenham Road, Ashburton. The Centre not only caters for students in the local community but also for students in the wider community who may not able to attend an evening class for various reasons, and has students who come from the whole Melbourne area.

Anyone is invited to come and visit the Centre at any time and Beginner classes start every 7 weeks. This is a well-established Centre and students are not only being instructed in the Traditional 108 Movement Yang Style Tai Chi but also a variety of Weapon routines. This is possible because the Centre has the following instructing staff: Senior Instructors Margaret Rogers, Noel Schmidt, Instructors Anna Yeow, Assistant Instructors Dianne Cummings, Christine Dowdall, and Trainee Instructors Chee Wah Khew.
